Where are they made?
All
components except the rims are manufactured entirely in the US. The
factory in Sully, Iowa. Competing hoops have steel and other components
made overseas.
3.
Can you adjust the height?
Yes. On most of our systems, there is a height adjustment mechanism that
goes as low as 6 feet with no difference in stability or quality.
4.
What are the differences
between Goalsetter Basketball Systems and their competitors?
There are
many.
Anchors – Ours consist of
a pole buried in the ground surrounded by concrete while our competitors
offer only j-bolts in concrete. Our anchor provides for greater
stability of the entire system.
Offset Pole Design – The
steel is structural 7 gauge rather than the thinner 11 gauge used in
other poles. The unique offset design significantly decreases the
movement of the unit during play.
Backboards – While many
companies offer glass backboards, Goalsetter surpasses the competition
by using the H-frame construction with its higher quality steel. It
provides the best ball response available on a residential system.
Height Adjustment – The
Compression Height Adjustment Mechanism is patented by Goalsetter to
give the easiest adjustment available on a residential system while
being safer than any other height adjustment option.
Appearance – Goalsetter
Basketball Systems provides not only the best stability for playing
basketball but also the best look to enhance your driveway or backyard
court rather than detract from it.

Does Rainbow
install the basketball systems?
Yes. We offer full installation of
all of our in-ground systems The installation commonly consists of a
trip to your home to install the anchor in concrete and a return visit a
few days later to stand up the system. If you choose to install
yourself, we will give you an anchor at purchase and deliver the hoop
within 7-10 days.
6.
Do all of
your residential hoops have a black pole?
No. Though most have a
black pole and extension arms, Goalsetter offers paint of virtually any
color you may want. We are the only company to offer this service.
7.
Do you have pole pads,
backboard pads and lights that attach to your systems?
We offer pole
and backboard pads of many colors but we do not offer lights that attach
to our systems. We have found that attached lighting options do not rise
to the level of quality we want on our systems. Please contact us for
further elaboration on the potential drawbacks of attached lighting.
