Is Rainbow Play Systems of Central Illinois a franchise?
No. We are a locally owned business with contracts with different manufactures to supply their goods in a defined territory.

Why does Rainbow elect to use mass marketers, such as in prior years at the local Sam’s?
Rainbow went through a 5 year period with mass marketers, supplying them with Box Kits manufactured in China. We were given the option to also sell these limited products. Most recently, Rainbow has backed out of doing business with mass merchants and is selling their products through local businesses like us in the larger areas and they are opening corporate showrooms.

Do we offer installation?
Yes.  We understand the price associated with our customers’ time in today’s environment and offer full installation for our products by experienced contractors. Our Installation Specialists have an average of six years assembling our products. Approximately 90% of what we sell, we install.

Do we sell Used Play Systems?
On occasion we sell our showroom models to make room for a new model. Also, we are always connecting sellers and buyers of used systems.  We offer the original owner the service of any needed warranting adding value as they sell their system and offering the buyer professional delivery and reassembly to move these systems to their home.

What happens if we move?
Many Rainbow owners ask this question. We offer moving your Rainbow Play System to the new location including reassembly and leveling at its new home. If you are moving out of state or country, we completely disassemble the system so your moving company can include it with your other belongings. Chances are there is an authorized Rainbow Distributor at the other end to reassemble your set.

What does Exclusive Lifetime Warranty really mean?
Subject to proper installation, maintenance, and normal residential use, Rainbow Play Systems, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser all North American wooden components against structural failure due to wood rot or insect infestation (excluding carpenter bees). Peeling, splintering, minor cracking caused by weather, surface cracks, knot holes, and knots are natural characteristics of all wooden play equipment.
